The Olivette Parks were getting a makeover and new patios and picnic pavilions were added. I was hired to create a community piece to beautify the bench surrounding the picnic pavilion at Stacy Park. We hosted several community days inviting community members to design and paint a tile that represents what the park means to them. All ages and abilities participated in our event! The piece was installed with additional mosaic pieces to fill in the spaces between the hand painted tiles. The work can be viewed at 9750 Old Bonhomme Road, Olivette, MO. 63132.
